This is a scaled claim that pays 10 * (IE - 80), where IE is the U.S. browser usage share (%) of Microsoft Internet Explorer first reported by WebSideStory representing a date on or after December 1, 2005.
The greater the market share of Internet Explorer, the more this claim pays. Sample payouts:
IE share = 90% or greater: 100 IE share = 85%: 50 IE share = 80% or less: 0
For 4/29/05, WebSideStory reported IE share of 88.86%; for 2/18/05, 89.85%; for 12/3/04, 91.80%. Press releases on browser share can currently be found at http://www.websidestory.com/products/web-analytics/datainsights/spotlight/overview.html
WebSideStory does not have a specific schedule for market share press releases, but it is very likely that such a press release will occur in the period between 12/1/05 and the judging date. So, the claim will be judged based on data from the first WebSideStory public release of US browser usage share, for a survey date (not press release date) of 12/1/05 or later. The claim should be judged immediately once satisfactory data of this type is released.
If for any reason WebSideStory, or its successor, does not publicly release US browser usage share data by the judging date, this claim should be judged at 50.
