Mark Warner, former governor of Virginia, will be the Democratic Party's presidential nominee on the ballot on Election Day, 2008, in at least 30 states.
In the event that there is more than one party that can credibly claim to be "the Democratic Party", any party that can claim descent from the Democratic Party and that has ballot access in at least 30 states on Election Day will qualify.
