This claim will be judged True if MD5CRK (www.md5crk.com) finds a collision in the outputs of the MD5 hash algorithm before 1 April 2006.
Informative: The project stated at its start on 1 March 2004 that it expected to find its first collision after approximately two years (see its official press release at www.md5crk.com/official_golive.php). The price of this claim will therefore track whether the project will be able to live up to that expectation, giving it one month extra.
Judgement will be based on whether or not the MD5CRK project claims to be successful in their effort to find a collision in outputs of the MD5 hash algorithm using distributed computing (or a "Chinese Lottery").
